What personal identifying information may be collected?
DoughMain only collects personal information on a voluntary basis. If an online visitor submits information to Doughmain, it will usually take the form of either: (1) product registration, e-Newsletter registration or registration for online game, (2) blog, (3) sweepstakes and contest registrations, (4) participation in our products or services, (5) surveys, and/or (6) newsletters. Personal information collected during registration from adults includes your first name, last name, date of birth, zip code, gender, password and e-mail address. Children that initiate registration are asked for their first name, date of birth, and if they are under the age of 18, an adult’s email address. The child’s name is temporarily retained for the registration letter only. The adult’s email is retained to facilitate registration process. No one under the age of 18 years old will be allowed to register for a DoughMain.
DoughMain offers a publicly accessible moderated blog. You should be aware that any information you provide in these areas may be read, collected, and used by others who access them. As a moderated blog we will not include any personally identifiable information. To request removal of your personal information from our blog, contact us at email@example.com. In some cases, we may not be able to remove your personal information, in which case we will let you know if we are unable to do so and why.
We display personal testimonials of satisfied customers on our site in addition to other endorsements. With your consent we may post your testimonial along with your name. If you wish to update or delete your testimonial, you can contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
From time to time, we may provide you the opportunity to participate in surveys on our site. If you participate, we will request certain personally identifiable information from adult members. Participation in these surveys or contests is completely voluntary and you therefore have a choice whether or not to disclose this information. The requested information typically includes contact information (such as name and email address), and demographic information (such as zip code). We use this information to monitor site traffic or personalize the site.
What other types of information may be collected.
We will ask you to add your children to your account where we collect their name, age, mobile phone number (optional), private email address (optional) or family email address from you. If your child has initiated the registration process, we have temporarily collected your child’s first name, birthdate (to validate age), and a parent’s email address to further the registration process. None of this information is retained in our database. If you choose to have them use a private email address, we will use this email address to send them only service-related emails including a one-time email asking them to “verify” their email address. Please be aware that standard carrier charges may apply. In addition, we will not send your child any promotional emails or text messages. You will be required to provide them with the password to verify the account.
A child’s participation or access to an activity on our site is not conditioned on them providing more personal information than is reasonably necessary for that activity. You have the right to request deletion of all data collected from your child and refuse further contact by notifying us at email@example.com or deleting the account in the My Account section of the website.
If you choose to add a mobile phone number to an account, please note that we will use this number only to send event/calendar alerts that you have opted to receive on your mobile phone. In addition, please be aware that standard carrier charges may apply. To opt out of these alerts please go to the My Accounts section, the Edit to “clear” the mobile phone number associated with the user’s permissions.
How your personal information may be used.
The personal information you provided in My Accounts, provided in the registration process, will allow us to fulfill your product or service order, alert you of new products or services, features, or enhancements, handle/route your customer service questions or issues, and/or notify you of upgrade opportunities, contests, promotions, or special events and offers. Lastly, we may use your personal information for internal marketing, profiling, or demographic purposes, so we can adapt our products and services to better suit your needs. We do this to better understand and serve our customers.
Who is collecting your information?
When you are asked for information while on the DoughMain site, you are sharing that information with DoughMain. In addition, some services are provided in conjunction with partner companies such as our DoughMain bank account providers. If your personal information is being collected by another company other than DoughMain, you will be notified at the time the information is collected. If you do not want your information shared, you can choose not to allow the transfer of information by not using that particular service or by not providing any information at that time.
With whom may your information be shared.
As with any business, your personal information is also an asset of DoughMain and will become part of our normal business records. As such, we may also disclose your personal information to a third party if we decide to sell a line of business to that third party, so you can continue to receive service and information in connection with that line of business with as little disruption as possible. Similarly, in the event of a merger, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, or other similar event, your personal information may be transferred to DoughMain’s successor or assign.
You have the right to consent to the site’s collection and use of the child’s personal information without having to consent to the site’s disclosures to third parties other than service providers by contacting us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The DoughMain website utilizes a messaging system and a Live Chat feature. The messaging system can only be used between those inside the DoughMain that the adult has created. Users can only message other users in their DoughMain. Children under 18 years of age will not be able to use the private messaging feature. The Live Chat feature is for customer service purposes only. Users can chat live with DoughMain customer service agents during the hours of 9 am to 5 pm EST, Monday through Friday.

DoughMain attempts to allow you to control the way that we use personally identifiable information that we obtain from you or your child. At the time you (adult user) provide personal information, DoughMain may contact you by email with future offers or information about new products, promotions or services. In addition, many of the “mailings” DoughMain may send you, such as newsletters, have instructions within them to cancel the receipt of any future mailings.
If at any time you (adult user) wish to opt out of having your personal information shared with third parties who are not service providers and/or receiving information from DoughMain (via e-mail or postal mail) about new products, services, or promotions, you can do so. DoughMain takes protection of children and their personal information very seriously. We strictly comply with the federal Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998. DoughMain will never knowingly request personally identifiable information or private content from anyone under the age of 13 without verifiable parental consent. If you register and create a DoughMain account, provided you are 18 years of age or older, you will be designated as administrator on the account. If you are an administrator of a user under 13 you may, at any time, revoke your consent to allow your child to participate as a user of your account, refuse to allow DoughMain to further use or collect your child’s personal information, or direct DoughMain to delete all identifiable information regarding your child that you have provided. To do so, please contact our Privacy Officer at firstname.lastname@example.org. However, if you do any of the foregoing, your child may not be able to use the DoughMan account or our services.
As administrator you will have the option to provide personal information about children under the age of 13 so that they may take maximum advantage of our products and services. If you do provide this personal information, it will be treated as we treat all personal information for users over the age of 13. Only an administrator may modify this information — a child is never able to edit their personal information. Note to Parents: We believe protecting personal information about young children is important. We urge adults to instruct their children to never give out their real names, addresses, or phone numbers, without permission, when online. Teenagers under the age of 18 and over the age of 12 should encourage the adults to review this policy and to contact us if they would like to evoke our opt-out policy or to raise any concerns.
What tracking technologies are and how they may be used.
As is true of most web sites, we gather certain information automatically and store it in log files. This information may include internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, operating system, date/time stamp, and/or clickstream data. We may combine this automatically collected log information with other information we collect about you. We do this to improve services we offer you, to improve marketing, analytics, or site functionality.

What are internet protocol addresses?
An Internet protocol (“IP”) address is the unique number assigned to your server or Internet Service Provider (“ISP”). DoughMain may track such IP addresses for system administration, to report aggregate information, site tracking, or to prevent our servers from being abused.

How secure you or your child’s personal information is.
While DoughMain takes reasonable steps to secure you and your child’s personal information, no system is fault proof. If DoughMain’s security systems are breached DoughMain may attempt to notify you electronically and, by using the service and/or providing personal information to us, you agree that we can notify you electronically. The security of your personal information is important to us. We follow generally accepted industry standards to protect the personal information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it. No method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure, however. Therefore, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
DoughMain may post a notice on the DoughMain website if a security breach occurs. If this happens, you will need a web browser enabling you to view the DoughMain website. DoughMain may also send an email to you at the email address you have provided to us. Depending on where you live, you may have a legal right to receive notice of a security breach in writing. To receive free written notice of a security breach (or to withdraw your consent from receiving electronic notice) you should notify us at firstname.lastname@example.org. DoughMain will retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services.
