Kenneth Damato

Kenneth Damato, President & CEO Midawi Holdings, Inc.

Mr. Damato founded Midawi Holdings Incorporated (MHI) in 2009 to take on the growing challenge of financial literacy among youth and adults, utilizing his entrepreneurial and management experience to lead the company. MHI is developing a web based product to integrate financial, education, and communication tools for today's family. The company's mission is to improve financial literacy using a secure, engaging suite of online tools that are immediately practical and relevant for the users.

Prior to founding MHI, Mr. Damato was the Managing Director of Intrepid Capital Partners, based out of Wayne, Pennsylvania where he was responsible for setting and driving the strategic direction for several portfolio companies that span a variety of vertical business units. He was also responsible for working with the Board of Directors to pursue strategic investment opportunities

Previously, Mr. Damato served on the Crimson Investment Team as the Chief Operating Officer of one of their Holding Companies, the Tyden Group. Mr. Damato's past roles include Sr. Vice President Americas at American Standard's Bath and Kitchen Business, Vice President, Global Business Development at American Standard's Trane Commercial Systems business and Vice President Marketing at GE Lighting. Mr. Damato graduated from Northeastern University with a bachelor's degree in marketing and business administration.

John Benis

John Benis, Entrepreneur & Investor

Mr. Benis purchased his first company, Lending Trimming, in 1976 and grew the business for over twenty years, successfully selling Lending in 1997 to William E Wright, Ltd., a corporate acquirer. He currently owns five operating companies including: On the Right Track Systems, Inc., a specialty products supplier to the health care industry; Cole Systems Associates, Inc., an IT solutions and software applications provider; OrderPad, which leverages benefits of Tablet PC's and provides mobile sales professionals an integrated product to manage the entire sales process from a single device; Hudson and Broad, a global manufacturer of specialty retail fixtures; and Wyla, Inc., a specialty products supplier to craft and home sewing retailers.

Mr. Benis typically is a co-founder of companies and provides hands-on financial and operating support to his management partners, helping the companies from formation to becoming profitable middle market businesses. He has assisted day-to-day managers with strategic planning and sales strategies, manufacturing and assembly set-up, and financial and information system controls. Since the 1980's, he has been an active investor in, and incubator of, numerous private companies in niche manufacturing, information and business services, and specialty commercial products.

Robert Garcia

Robert Garcia, Telecommunications Industry Executive & Investor

Mr. Garcia currently serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Synchronoss Technologies, a leading provider of e–commerce transaction management solutions for the telecommunications industry, and has been with the company since August 2000. With over 15 years of experience managing complex Product Management and Service Delivery programs for multiple vertical industries, Mr. Garcia manages Service Fulfillment and Customer Satisfaction, and ensures that all processes are handled in an automated environment, in the fastest amount of time, at an industry–leading unit cost. As COO, Mr. Garcia has responsibility for Revenue Attainment, Profit and Loss, Global Operations and the on-time delivery of the company's flagship products and services to its clients.

Prior to joining Synchronoss, Mr. Garcia was a Senior Business Consultant with Vertek Corporation based in Murray Hill, NJ, and also held senior management positions at Philips Lighting Company and Johnson & Johnson Company. Mr. Garcia received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Logistics and Economics from St. John's University in New York.

Mike Roe

Mike Roe, Entrepreneur & Investor

Mr. Roe has been an entrepreneur and innovator in the financial services technology sector for over 25 years. He is the former founder, chairman and CEO of NaviSys, a leading provider of mission-critical insurance software acquired by Accenture in 2006. During his fifteen years leading NaviSys, Mr. Roe implemented many industry firsts, overseeing the business from startup to market leader with more than 60 insurance company clients.

Mr. Roe is currently a partner, investor and board member of FAST Technology, an innovator in financial services technology based in Edison, NJ. At FAST Mr. Roe focuses on business strategy and leads the Company’s consulting practice. Mr. Roe also sits on the Board of Directors of FirstBest Systems, a leading provider of modern software solutions to property and casualty and workers compensation insurers.

Ned Hentz

Ned Hentz, CCO Midawi Holdings, Inc. - Board Member

Mr. Hentz is the Chief Creative Officer of Midawi Holdings Incorporated (MHI) and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the business. Throughout his career, he has spent more than 20 years working closely with his father-in-law Lee Iacocca on a variety of projects, including the Olivio Premium Products where he is currently the President and CEO. Before joining Olivio, Mr. Hentz worked for BBDO as an advertising copywriter for consumer products such as Pepsi, Polaroid and various other multinational brands. He has also worked as a copyrighter at firms such as McCann-Erikson in Los Angeles and Jordan, Case & McGrath in New York. Mr. Hentz began his career as a speechwriter for the Chairman of Dun and Bradstreet.

In addition to his experience within the marketing industry, Mr. Hentz served as the founder and CEO of Allowance-plus (acquired by DoughMain in 2012), a software and mobile app company that helps families teach their children about money. He also served as the Chairman of the Nutrition Roundtable at the Harvard University School of Public Health and Nutrition for ten years and is active on several other boards and trade associations. Mr. Hentz graduated with honors from Middlebury College and attended the School of Visual Arts in New York City.
